In November 2008, Laura was awarded a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Exeter, UK, where she was funded by an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) competition scholarship. She then moved from the UK to Australia, to take up a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, University of Queensland (UQ). As a postdoc at UQ, she managed an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage project. After this project, she moved to a Lectureship position in the School of Business, UQ. During this time, Laura was awarded two major ARC grants (see Research). Since July 2011, she has been based at the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath, UK, as a Lecturer in Social Psychology.
